So who would you put your money on…The stock SRT Demon on race gas or the modded nitrous SRT Hellcat???
“1/4 mile drag race between a stock Dodge Demon and a modded SRT Hellcat. Since the weather was not optimum for drag racing (hot, humid, high DA), both cars ran 2-3 tenths slower. The Demon’s stock 6.2L Supercharged V8 makes 840 Horsepower and 770 lb-ft of Torque. The Hellcat is also powered by a Supercharged 6.2 Liter V8 which makes 707 Horsepower and 650 lb-ft of Torque when stock. However, the Hellcat in the video makes nearly 1000 horsepower and has the following mods: long tube headers, 2.75 upper pulley, 10% overdriven lower pulley, 1300 cc injectors, cold air intake, triple pump fuel pump and 150 HP shot of Nitrous, The Hellcat has drag radials as does the Demon. The Demon comes with drag radials from the factory whereas it’s a mod on a Hellcat. Again, the weather was hot and humid at No Problem Dragway in Louisiana with a DA of +1800 feet. The Demon is brand new and the owner did not to use the TransBrake to launch the car. Track prep was first rate and handled by Brandon and the team of Mass Traction”
